Mission

Love Fed New Haven (conceived in February 2018) is a community of Black & Brown neighbors growing their own food at home and cultivating a growing community that actively works towards practicing food sovereignty while supporting personal wellness and environmental health through land stewardship, urban farming education and training, and culinary education.

Vision

A future of equitable and localized food systems, effective food policies, as well as safe and sustainable environments. We seek to spark innovation, create and act on new and ancestral systems that include and are led by the populations most affected by food apartheid and environmental issues in the greater New Haven area, throughout Connecticut and abroad.

Love Fed New Haven existed as a fiscally sponsored project from 2018-2021 and now lives on through the people who have been influenced by the work.
